Fouche is where the local guys meet to " see who's the fastest" it's in LR industrial park. I've been a few times but I don't like the fact that its known by the popo where everyone meets Thursday- Saturday. Not worth it to me. I'm trying to get some of my tickets off me so I can affordably pay for insurance....

Yeah I usually go out there because theres nothing else to do on friday and saturday night. I wish we could get a track open here in little rock or somewhere close since the closest one is in centerville. I don't like street racing as I would like to keep my insurance low and keep my license so I tend to leave once they go out to "race".

My current boss and I are trying to maybe get a 1000' or 1/4 mile track opened up at the old NLR airport as we got offered land out there for our business. It's still a few months off before I know anymore about it but I really hope that it happens. I still love going to centerville occasionally but the fact that I dont have a trailer means I have to drive my car an hour+ both ways and hope I dont break something at the track and have to pay to get it towed back. I'd feel much more comfortable only having to drive 20 minutes to a track.

Lame, it would be nice up here but with Harding and the zoning it makes it yearly impossible.

I normally go to the Newport track. It's only 1/8 mile. Sucks for FWD cars...

Hey everyone, just recently got the gsx back on the road. Slapped a basic tune on it so it was drivable. Still a few problems with it, I'm replacing both door handles because they both broke off, I'm pretty sure my aem wide and isn't calibrated or something because the car runs fine yet the gauge hovers between 15.0 all the way to --- which I have no idea what that means. I'm on the fence about keeping it.. I've kind of gotten over wanting a fast vehicle and I miss my Subaru because I was able to take it wherever I wanted basically, and I liked that freedom.. I'm in the fence about selling the car.. I don't want it to go to just anyone if it gets sold. I would love to see it go to someone who will get it in as close to perfect condition as possible (we all know these cars aren't perfect) . But I also love the feel of being behind the wheel of a dsm. If someone offered me payoff which is somewhere in the ballpark of 5k, I would most likely sell it. The mods list is too long to type on here, although some of them are listed on my profile. If anyone wants any more information you can text me at 870-262-7527. Like I said, I hate to see it go, but I just don't know if it's what I want.

Hey guys, do you guys remember Cabot2g (bobby). His old 1999 Eclipse GST is up for sale. My cousin currently owns it and is currently looking for something else for his family. I'm sure you can look up on Cabot2g profile and see the rebuild pictures and mods but I have the mod list handy so here it goes.

Outlander large drilled/slotted rotors, 17'' Rims, 2" drop tenzo R springs, KYB struts
The motor has ###### 9,900 miles after rebuild and 93,xxx miles on the body.

VtecvrsTurbo - Does your car have a sqeaking noise to it? But when you push the clutch just a little it goes away at idle?

Chad- why do you ask . It did about 2 months ago, but I popped the rubber cover off the fork on the transmission and got lube on the TOB. Worked like a charm

I have 9 gallons of 100LL aviation fuel I could part with. basically its 100 octane fuel with low lead (100LL)..... Stuff is expensive. I know 110 octane is about 10+ a gallon.

Im back in the dsm industry again finally. Got a new job at white county medical center. Got my stage 5 4 puck springless clutch in, and my 9 pound flywheel. Im fixing to order a bunch of brand new bolts for my tranny motor mounts and everything else to put it back together right. Im also going to pull my plugs and put some mystery oil in it to spin it by hand once since its sat up for 6 months. I also got a new daily driver but don't laugh its a 2013 veloster turbo with a six speed standard tranny.

I live in cabot now hit me up. Ill run that veloster against my 11 optima turbo. Im sure were running the same engine. 2.0 ? Ive already installed a injen intake to mine. I plan on installing an HKS bov next. If yours is the same setup as mine a genesis adapter will work on the hks on the 2.0

Well me and AL might have worked out a deal on the six bolt block. I might start getting into building engines and reselling them on the side. I don't know what kind of a market there is for building and reselling but I do know a standard rebuild isn't that much for these and add a little extra like porting a head or adding a bse kit might make it worth my time. I know you can't really buy a decent engine from a salvage yard with less than 100xxx miles for less than 1200 bucks( unless you go to pick and pull or the forums in questionable shape). I figure if I can rebuild one for less than 900 in semi stock shape i could get 1200+ or keep it and find another shell and get back into the game.
