The past few days have been AWESOME for being outside. Hahah. Speaking of brake pads and rotors, I ripped off the rear wheels to finish the mudflaps and completely forgot that I already have drilled/slotted rotors. I got to mark something else off of my list.

I don't go out of my way to watch the series. I've read the comic and it was just awesome. The show doesn't live up to it - but the show IS good. Rick is a nervous wreck in both versions. Haha.

Experienced riders course and motorcycle sport rider course. Good a teaching lean angles and good habits.

My bike is a 08 fz600 w/ powercommander 3 mapping, two brothers exhaust, k&n filter w/air box mod. Though I haven't went to the strip, others have reported a high 11's stock. Really not bad. Mines a sport touring, but pushes a slightly detuned r6 motor. (Just wait till I find a set of R6 cams.$ :)

I do enjoy a 65mph first gear ;).

So I couldn't stand it anymore, skipped out on work early to work on the car.

In a side note I just snagged these off eBay for my office.

K&n air filter is the only mod I was told. Stock exhaust. I am thinking about getting lowering links, lowering the front forks, and just learning the bike. Unless I sell it before then LOL

Great gas mileage but it is getting cold LOL.
 
Hey everyone! I'm in North Little Rock. I am currently on my 3rd DSM. I had two as a teenager, and just bought my 3rd: a 92 Laser AWD. I'd like to meet up with some fellow DSMers in the area. Do any of y'all get together regularly?

Hi and welcome to the site, there is an active group here so you should make yourself at home. We had a few meets this year and I am sure there will be more to come. There is a wealth of knowledge on Tuners and a good group of people in the Arkansas forum.

Everyone here has had a DSM at some point of time. Some have moved on to other platforms but we still hang out here because it’s a great group of people.

Haha I know they are coming out of the woodwork. Hell, they may end up being the same few being passed back and forth and neglected more and more each round :(...

I agree, this thread is VERY active and personally more enjoyable than the "Hangout" forum as well.

I haven't got to get to a meet yet but hope to hit something up in the Spring. We should do a meet at one of the drag strips as well to get things tested out and help each other tune things up. I'm extremely tempted to try and make it to the DSM Shootout next year as well....
 
Best part is I'm going to pick up a 93 laser this weekend. It runs all it needs is a rear end
 
If you don't have the equipment to measure the tolerances have a machine shop spec the crank and journals. Odds are you only have a bad thrust bearing. Will need to replace all the lower bearings but the block should be okay
