well my number is right up there man i wont put the new alternator in till tomorrow evening, have to wait for the shipping, whenever you're not busy feel free to text/call me and we can discuss everything!!

True story, snicker bar and a DP goes a long way ;) Haha anywho after you check everything grounds included, they're there for a reason, go with an OEM alternator.

so i put the alternator in..and its already not working, the only thing i did was drive the car 3 blocks and it shut off on me, this thing is driving me crazy if any1 can come look over things for me and see if ive made a newbie mistake or if my car is just jacked up i really need it done asap im willing to compensate for gas and so on

Hm, you certainly have an electrical issue somewhere and I don't think it's alternator related. Have you checked the Alternator fuse?
 
Lol my GS-T was pain to get vacuums and Turbo hooked back up not being one to unhook them, But man it was worth it to hear the turbo whistle when it started! I look like a fat kid how just got a peace if chocolet cake! :) still have problem with axles on it, does anybody have some of the smaller splin axles that would fit my stock axles are little bigger than the ones that go in the new tranny. When I figure out how to post some pics from my phone on here I do it I have pic of tranny and of my turbo stuff that I'm having problems with.
 
Some quick questions here guys.

I am going to be doing a balance shaft elim kit (oem) but it only comes with one stubby shaft. So how do I get rid of both? I have done some research and cant really find anything. I have heard take the belt off but I ain't that dumb LOL. I just want one (two) less things spinning around in there causing problems LOL.

EDIT: Upon further review there is only one stubby shaft for the oil pump shaft. The other just gets taken out and blocked off. Wow I feel retarded. Hahaha

anyone got a halfway decent 7 bolt oil pan they wanna sell. i kinda might need a new one LOL.
 
yeah lets just say the kid i got my car from it didnt come with it. just like the arp main studs and several other little pieces and parts that i will have to buy new cause the pick and pulls around here are bare and dont really have much of what im looking for LOL. it sucks. also cabot 2g is your car white by chance?
 
i think there is one in pick and pull up in cabot right now but ill double check for you real quick and let you know. what all are you looking for.

yeah there is a 99 in cabot and 3 in little rock. one is 95, 96, and a 99 so there are some just not many
 
what kind of pulleys you looking for i have the ones that came with my car and im thinking about getting different ones.

and whats wrong with your 7 bolt that your pulling it out. or are you just swapping in a 6 bolt.
 
OEM crank and the other pullies if the unorthadox pullies are not OEM diameter.

Major issues on the current engine, most likely will require a full build for it to be up and going. Wont know for sure untill I get it out and apart.
 
well i need to find a completely toasted 7 bolt that i can rob all the hardware and stuff off of for my engine. Cause like i said earlier i dont know where half my stuff is or where any of it goes LOL.

At least its a clean 2gb awd shell ;) I'd clean the bay up while everything is out if I were you.

Just take pictures of what you're confused about and we can help you out from there.
 
i dont have really anything im confused about its just missing a bunch of stuff. im just a little pissed about the situation
