I have to change that I have a n/t and a GST, the gst is the one that I'm putting the apexi on, but I was asking because it came in 3 peaces so Im just assuming it needs gaskets between them before bolting together. Am I wrong?

Like I said check with a muffler shop or autozone etc. I have never bought a aftermarket exhaust that came in a box so all mine where welded. If they did not come with gaskets that's really lame but. All you really need is a metal gasket. Take your pipe with you to get a perfect match.

Good luck!

The black lifters with the smaller holes are the ones i am talking about. How long to i have to prime them in oil to check to see if they are garbage or how do i tell in general? and that is the cylinder head freeze plug i need the size too, i think it is a 35MM but Idk my tape says about a 1 3/8.

Thanks!

If you measure 1 3/8 it's a 35mm by the way

Those larger ones look like revised lifters.

The black ones? I've tried and tried to pump them submerged in oil and they never get tight. I do not know if they are good (black ones)

Are you pumping them with or without the paperclip in them?

No some most of the silver ones that came out of my head I couldn't press down untill I put the paper clip in and pumped a few times, then I put them in oil without the paper clip and tried by hand. Il try and get more oil in a cup so I can pump them standing in oil.

I just had them laying down in oil because with my fat greasy sausage fingers makes it a PITA to do it standing up LOL.

Figured it out! They HAVE to be straight up and down all silver lifters tested good. Cams are in. Now just waiting on my BSEK and oil pump gasket, tourque everything to spec. Them done:).

Got my apexi on and took my GST out for my first ride in it, do I needed to worry if it's pegging the oil pressure all the way out? Never had a car do that before

The oil pressure is maxing? Is it all the time or is it fine at idle?

Well it's at the bottom of the high range at idle and rises to where you can't see the needle when you give it gas! I have had motors made to hold 60-65 psi at idle and up as high 90-100 psi at 5k, but never one that high that should be stock, want make sure it won't hurt anything the pressure being high is good but on my others they would drain the oil pan fast at that rate and cause it to spin crank bareings and it is blowing little oil out of the oil cap if you run the R.P.M's up. Do I needed to worry about it or will it be fine?

Yes you need to worry. You're going to end up blowing seals, especially on that turbo. You need to determine what might be causing the high pressure. Check the actual wiring and do an OHM test to see if it's just a ton of resistance in the wire.

Ugh. I absolutely hate crain mistubishi.

Me: I need a oil return line for a t-25 turbo.
Them: what's your vin?
Me: gave them a vin for my 90.
Them: we cannot sell you that because it did not come with the car.
me: hangs up.
Them: hello?

That is bullshit. They pulled the same crap when I wanted oem fog lights and switch for my 06 eclipse. Who cares wtf it goes on. Its the&god*%$# part I need. Ridiculous!

Did I mention on my 06 that all I had to do was take the hole covers out of the bumper and switch cover and plug them up? All the wiring and plugs where already there. Absolute garbage stealerships!
