buy= cost to much money for me. and thats really the only thing rusted on the car other then surface rust. so yeah and i have a book full of recipts for the car and im not gonna get rid of it.

Well got another question, I figured something out the car is surging and dies if the boost tub is hooked to the intake, unless you keep the the engine raced up to 3k, if you take it off the intake it will idle almost smooth but it's at 1500 and running rich, still has a hesitation when you hit the gas but it will turn 6k either way easy. I am waiting on the axles to come in so I'm trying to figure this issues out but don't know where to start, is it the turbo, a sensor, or vacume not roughted right I used my chilltion book but I improvised a little due to not haveing the T's it needed only thing not hook up is the canister under the battery, I figured it would be vacuums for the vents or something that wouldn't affect the running part and I could come back later with some new lines and added it.

By boost tube you mean? Recirculation hose? Take a pic of your bay so we can get a visual of what's going on.

Sry for the post be confusing! I know nothing about this stuff, I'm trying to add some pics but it will not let me add them from my iPhone for some reason. But the tub i am talking about is the big one that hooks to the throttle body on the intake. If it is hooked up the car will hit and die unless you hit the gas but is misses, clings and clangs and pops threw the exoust and will not idle, take it off and it runs, and Ty keiya I will use the link tonite and redo the vacuums

That vaccum hose link is a very good idea and i dont really need the whole egr for emmsions testing cause well they dont do that down here.

I wouldn't advise running the engine without the uicp hooked up...sounds like you don't have everything hooked up right.

You can buy a block off plate cheap, or you can make one for free.

Got the front case and balance shafts out (finally) I don't have a tool to take the oil pump plug out. So I just pulled the pump off to eliminate the balance shafts.

I am currently attempting to see if my lifters are good. Some lifters came with this black car Kei and they look a tad bit different (black ) but I dipped them in oil and could compress them without a paperclip because the black ones have smaller rubber holes. Do I haves to use a paper clip to get all the oil out and then re pump them? They still do compress but not near as far. Does that mean every single lifter I have is bad? Sorry if this is confusing but I am having trouble understanding how they work LOL. Thanks!

Il get pictures of my stock lifters and the slightly different black ones soon.

Diagram and new plugs helped ALOT! But still running rich and has small fluter to it, if the BOV is leaking will it couse this problem? Don't have a recirculaton hose yet so blocked the hole by the breather and placed my hand over the BOV and engine seemed to smooth out some.

I wont get into a whole lot on this but that's your problem. You have to have a recirc pipe on these cars. I would get a MAF- T and VTA but that's just my opinion LOL. Il probably catch hell over this one.

Also would it be a good idea to use blue loctite on connecting rods?

Can anyone help me identify the components the vac lines are going to?

Its the black and green/white componets.

Again this is a 99 gst. The location is directly below the battery. One hose is going back to the firewall and then under the car.

The Blue line goes to the air intake just behing the MAF.
The yellow is run to a tee in the purple.
The Green comes out of the side of the black componet and up to the top of the engine behind the intake.
The Purple comes out of the white/green componet and also goes up to the top of the engine behind the intake.
The Light Blue lines comes from under the car at the fire wall.

Not in the picture is a hose that connects the two componets on the bottom. Also the green/white componet has a elbow on the top that just vents to the atmosphere.

I assume this part of the gas tank vent system and EGR but Im not positive. If I dont have to have them I would like to remove it.

hmmm.... same as my brothers 95. looks like a charcoal can to me LOL. but i really do not think its a EGR (But of course a could be wrong LOL). do you have a manual? Luke does maybe he will chime in shortly.

Your EGR is on the underside of your Intake manifold. What you're seeing is the Charcoal canister. Follow the link I posted up top and just remove that entire assembly.

Well hopefully I can get mine out the shop tomorrow. Its so hard to find parts around Little Rock. ugh..

The black lifters with the smaller holes are the ones i am talking about. How long to i have to prime them in oil to check to see if they are garbage or how do i tell in general? and that is the cylinder head freeze plug i need the size too, i think it is a 35MM but Idk my tape says about a 1 3/8.

Thanks!

Anyone have a link to find the gaskets for a apexi exhaust? I have been looking all nite and can only find head gaskets by apexi

I have to change that I have a n/t and a GST, the gst is the one that I'm putting the apexi on, but I was asking because it came in 3 peaces so Im just assuming it needs gaskets between them before bolting together. Am I wrong?
