Ebay Item number: 170024739365

I wanna lower my talon for a good price so i was wondering if these were atleast fair quality. Thanks for any help!

Ebay might be a decent place to scrounge some items, but something critical such a springs.....I personally would NOT buy those. If you're on a budget, look in the classifieds and find a set of Eibach springs or something of quality for something that important.

They will probably be fine for what you're looking to do. I dont think you're racing or anything, or even care too much about performance. Price is kinda hard to beat.

I'd reccommend shocks/struts while you're at it. You're already going to have everything apart, and if there is anything left of your stockers these will wear them out.

I've heard alot of stuff about ebay stuff, for example i bought some ebay coilovers, that was back in the day, couldnt get anyone to help with the install or pay someone to do it, but then i started searching and found ALOT of people have problems with ebay springs, me personally, i finally decided to go lower, got me a set of good shape eibach 1.8 inchers for 120 shipped, so you can find good deals bro just keep checking.

There was a discusion about the megan racing springs a couple days ago. I've had a buddy who has had them, and someone else with a 1g was talkin about it. Both of them confirm that the springs do lower the car as described, but the ride is very soft and bouncy. My buddy with the celica often bottomed out his tires into the wheel well if a bump was too big. So be aware that it's not a stiffer spring, if you wanna lower it with a stiffer ride, i have friends who have tried Tein and Eibach and they say the ride is stiffer, but not to the point where it's not practical to drive on the road.

I have Suspension Techniques springs with Koni's on the front and AGX's on the rear and I must say that I love my set up. The ride is firm but not harsh and it gave me a 2 finger gap between my tires and wheel wells. I have driven it on several multi-hour drives that were very comfortable and I didn't feel beat up afterwards. The springs are similar to Eibach Prokits with slightly more drop and slightly different spring rates. They are also a little cheaper than Eibach's also.

Many get them just for the perches and then match them with quality springs. The perches probably don't have much protection from corrosion but for that price you could afford to swap them every couple years.
