Are there two different 90 ecu's?

I was looking at the vfaq and noticed that they list part number md145903 as a 3/89-6/90 ecu and part number MD166262 as a 6/90-6/92 ecu. My question is that i have the
md145903 ecu that i will be replacing with a md166262 and was wondering if i will need to switch the 6 and 14 pinouts since it was used up till 92?

The md166262 is for 91-92 model years. The listing on vfaq for the 6262 being used in 90 is a misprint(except for vehicles made in 90 with a 91 model year). You will have to switch pins 6 and 14 for it to work properly if you currently have the md145903.

So anything with a built date of 6/90 and up was consider a 91 model year. Makes sense now.

Thanks
