Are there any non-450cc bue top injectors?

I'm sorry if this has been covered... I looked through the forums, searched with the search feature, and looked through the FAQs. If the answer is there, I must've missed it!

Anyway, I was in the boneyard today, and saw a wrecked 2G eclipse. It was definitely an NA model, but the injectors had blue tops. I'm a Honda guy, and the 450cc blue tops are what we go after when building a DIY turbo kit... so, all I know is that blue = 450cc. However, I didn't expect to find 450s in an NA Eclipse!

So, are there any non-450cc blue top injectors, or are any blue top injectors in a DSM 450cc? I want to find out ASAP so I can head back to the yard and snag these things if they are indeed 450cc!

I wouldn't rely on the color of the injector to dictate its flow rate. I would assume they are stock injectors on the 2g N/T you saw. Maybe someone with a 2g N/T can pipe in to confirm.

When people say 'blue-top 450cc DSM injectors' that means they are 450cc injectors from a 1g turbo DSM. The stock injectors that came on my 2g turbo were black top 450cc injectors. They are both pretty much the same, but the 2g injectors spray in a more figure 8 pattern where as the 1gs don't.

Look around here or on ebay for DSM 450cc injectors to make sure you are getting what you need.

I've found 450s all over the net for about $65... the ones at the junkyard would cost me $5 each. I was just hoping that's what they were!

I suppose waiting for a 2G N/A person is best, eh? The 1G 450s are blue tops then? So a 2G with blue tops, unless they "upgraded" to the 1G turbo injectors, would probably mean it's not what I want... I wish it wasn't such a hassle to get them out! This car is smashed in the front, and sitting on the rotors... so there's no way under it.
