Are There Any Non Cat Delete Downpipes For Gst?

Ok i have posted about this recently and i can;t get any answers so i thought i would make a post directly about this. I am looking to get a 2.5" to 3" downpipe that is not a cat delete one. I need to be able to bolt up, or weld up if necessary, a catalytic converter. I also need to be able to hook it up to my stock o2 housing which i have heard they all do. Would it have to be a 2.5" inlet then on the downpipe?
All the ones on ebay seem to be cat delete downpipes. Am i correct on that? I don't want to have to cut part of the piping off and weld a flange on and all. Anyone know of one that is not going to be like 200 or 300 bucks? All the ones on ebay are about $100 but like i said before seem to be cat delete. This one the guy said can be bolted right up to a cat, but it is the same length as all the ones that are cat delete. This is a cat delete correct?

Can someone please let me know which one i can get that will be the right length so that i can attach a nice magnaflow high flow cat to it? I've been spending alot of time trying to figure it out and have gotten no where as of now.
 
Looks like you can bolt a cat up to it with no problem. If you don't want to go buy one build one. RoadRace Engineering sells mandrel bends which you can make one yourself. Anything should bolt up to thatdown pipe either a 3 inch test pipe or cat.

Would a comeplete catback then be able to be bolted up to a cat after that? Or will it be too long and stick way out? Cause if it is meant to be cat delete then wouldn;t a catalytic converter make it way to long in all?

Would that downpipe, with a 3" high flow magnaflow cat and then that cat back work out? I just want to bolt it all up and then realize that it is 10 inches too long or something like that.
 
I'm thinking about getting a Road Race Engineering to hook up to my Apexi N1 catback. I right now have the DP without the cat. But I need to get this thing legal. ;)

Yeah those look pretty nice. A bit pricey though. Between buying the downpipe and the high flow cat it's like 400 and then you still gotta get the catback. Does anyone know if there are other models just like that? Like a tsudo one or one of those ebay ss ones? I just really wanted to only spend around 300-400 max on a full setup.
 
Anyone know of any at all? I Just want to buy a downpipe that does not have a cat delete. Is there really none out there, besides that real expensive one from RRE for 230 Plus 150 for their cat? Spending 400 just for downpipe and cat is ridiculous! There must be one for around 100 i would think.
So please if anyone know's of one or has one or anything please let me know.
 
When I get my downpipe I will be just buying a ebay DP with cat delete and buying a real 3" Cat (the one with the honeycomb) and having it welded in. I figure after everything it will cost me around for 200 for everything (including the welding), still cheaper then RRE

Yeah after seeing the prices on all the non cat delete systems, i guess that is my best bet as well. Would hate paying $400 for a non delete downpipe. Just feels like a complete rip off to me. I'm sure they are good quality, but a pipe is a pipe in the end! I think i will wind up going the same route as you on this. Would you weld the flange on the end back on to the end of the cat when you get that welded up? And just cut a big chunk out of the section?

Yeah I hadnt thought about it to much but for the most part I was just going to take a chunk out of the middle of the downpipe and put the cat in there. Just make sure whoever does it makes sure that they put the flange back on at the right angle so it bolts up.

Haha yeah it's too bad about emissions. Would be much easier and cheaper to just throw a cat delete system on, but oh well. Yeah i will definately make sure it is angled correctly. Would suck alot to get it all done and have it not bolt up correctly.

No kidding, knowing my luck it will happen to me, LOL

I have also considered just buying a cat-delete and putting my stocker back on when I go for my inspection every year, but I am not sure its worth the hassle.
