Are 1g and 2g turbos interchangeable?

You would have to rig it up with different piping since they are rotated different.

To tell you the truth get yourself another 14b, it is not only better all around, but it will be less a headache.

The original question here was whether or not they would fit, I was pondering this also, would a 2G turbo fit on a 1G manifold, I know this is pretty much the complete opposite of the ideal setup, but would it work?

Yes, I answered the question in the first reply. They will bolt up, but the piping has to be changed. It goes along with the whole "2G manifold replaces a 1G" because of the cracking tha occures in the 1G runners. They are the same flange for "bolting on" purposes.

Yes, the turbo will bolt up to the manifold, but on a 1G, your lower IC pipe attaches to the turbo, but with the 2G turbo, you have that silly J pipe attachment, so you will have problems there.
