So I got the safc installed and evertything works just fine. Car starts, reads rpm and throttle. When I go to setting to set the hi & low throttle, it seems not to be working when I raise or lower the throttle settings. All the wires are connected right when I was looking at the vfaq instr. Can this be the ecu? Or what can it be. Any help will be apprciated. Thanks. Mark.

what do you mean no change??? in the idle??it is not for that. The high and low settings are for the %of how much you are pushing the throtle till it switches over to the high or low settings example:

say you have it set at 50% low and 50% high at 50%lowyou will be pushing th gas pedel no more than half way so set that for normal driving fuel wise than the 50% hi setting si for when you are over half pedel set your fuel curve for when the turbo starts to spool bring the fuel up with boost and taper off when the power band dies (if it does) chuging or shurging is bad increes fuel if you get that under full boost

this is just a genral gide line if you doubt your self in any way get some one who knows what they are doing the afc can chang your fuel enough to pop your engine!

put your SAFC to read 4 settings.. RPM / throttle % / REV / correction.

say your throttle points are 30/80. at WOT [ 100% throttle ] your SAFC will switch into HI settings. you can tell that the SAFC is doing its job if the CORRECTION changes to the desired setting you had it to.

always recheck all of the connections you made when installing the ECU if there is a problem. I should know, that was the source of my recent throttle problem
