apexi n1 dp

will a apexi n1 downpipe bolt up to a stock cat back? information on the car is in profile.

the apexi downpipe gets rid of the stock cat. it has a stright pipe bolted on to it

yeah i know it replaces the cat but will it bolt up to the stock cat back exhaust system. I heard that the apexi downpipe is around 3" longer than other downpipes that eliminate the cat thats why i was asking.

It will, but you may need to do some customization to have it fit. It's prolly best to do a cat-back prior to a DP. IMO.

Get the catback first and your problem will take care of itself.

na unfortunatly the n1 dp only matches up with the n1 cat back exhaust, unless you customize it yourself. i had greddy cat back, and bought the n1 dp, and had to replace the greddy with a apexi n1 catback.

Then you arent too bright b/c i have a greddy exhaust and an n1 DP on right now.

The N1 will not bolt up to the stock cat-back because it is meant to be used in conjunction with a 3 inch system. The n1 catback has a reducer to fit the stock diameter cat but the dp is longer then the stock dp and cat so it eliminates that small section where there was once a reducer.

K ill do the cat back first but im having a local exhaust shop do it, so should i have them build off my stock cat then put the downpipe on or will the apexi downpipe still be too long?

I would bring them the n1 dp and have them build the exhaust from that. You don't want any fitment problems and this would make it easier for them.

Yeah def bring the DP w/ you, but the shop shouldnt have any problems at all. The way i did it was in order to use my greddy cat back w/ my stock cat, a piece had to be welded on the end to neck down to the cat size. Therefore if they are making the exhaust, it should be a peice of cake to make it so they fit perfectly.

dont waqnt to steal the thread but , if i have a 3" apexi RS catback with testpipe, stock DP right now. Could i just buy the Apexi DP and take the test pipe out aand have it bolt right up to my cat back system ? are they compatabile
