apexi exhaust??

Got this exhaust with a 1g tsi i bought.The dude cut the muffler off and id thought id ask this stupid question.Whats up with the two 3 inch openings in this exhaust.I'm pretty sure its a 2.5 inch or 2 inch.I tried to look for what exhaust it is but can't find any apexi with that done to it it says apexi on the exhaust though so i know its apexi.Anyone have this exhaust or know what one it is??I need to buy a muffler for it and not sure what muffler to put on it.Any help is appreciated<a href="http://s265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/killaxman2o/?action=view&current=muffle.png" target="_blank"><img src="http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/killaxman2o/muffle.png" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

your pipes are probably 2 1/4 or 2.5 but they look mighty skinny.

Yeah the picture makes it look a lot smaller also cause i was so far from it.I cropped it out of a pic of my parts car.Id half to measure it to get the Persis size but i know its not 3inch all the way threw.Only looks like 3 inch in them two spots.I just cant figure out what apexi it is i wanted to Put on the muffler made for it.A universal could be put on but then i think it would sound like Crap if i got a different muffler on the wrong exhaust.
