Apexi Exhaust Question

I was looking into buying the Apexi N1 Exhaust system, aswell as the Apexi N1 Downpipe for my 1997 GSX. I was wondering if anyone running this set-up (If anyone is), could tell me if they bolt up to each other, or if you need a catalytic? From a legal stand point, I would prefer if I could fit a catalytic in there, but if it isn't going to fit, then I don't think I would mind it not being there.

The apexi cat back and down pipe fit to each other, eliminating the cat.
If you get a downpipe other than an apexi, you may have to cut and weld a piece to make it longer.

If you are worried about IM test, keep the old exhaust and put it back on come test time.

In Florida, we no longer have emissions testing, but I believe you can get fined for removing, or tampering with your pollution control devices.

Dude I have Apexi N1 Sounds Good and deep. Almoust like you have somting without you having anythning underthe hood. The best buck i ever spend!

yea, i have the apexi n1 muffler and apexi dp on mine with custom piping. sounds darn good. i don't have a cat so it sounds a little different, kinda like a muscle car throwing up . get rid of the cat, screw emissions !
