420A anything to better my engine

i have a 95 gs 420a and i was just wondering if their was anything here and there i could do to my engine without spending loads of cash.i already have an AEM cold air intake,megan racing header,and a jdm exhaust.if theirs any other bolt ons or just anything i could do to my engine to make it healthier i would greatly appreciate a response.

Well this isn't engine related, however, a rear sway bar or strut tower bar whatever you want to call it would be my next buy. IMO it is one of the cheapest things to buy that increases the cornering of the car. Other than that general maintenance starting with a tune up. It's hard to get more out of your engine with the cheap and easy factors, light weight crankshaft pully isn't super easy but is do-able for a beginner. Good luck.

Lol @ JDM Exhaust. Not a whole lot you can do without building the engine and going to a turbo setup. Dont fall for those electric superchargers, ebay performance chips, or intake vortex generators.

Cold air intake, Header, Cams, and a 2.5" header back exhaust are really the only horsepower increases you will see. You might be able to squeeze a few more out with a SAFC and wideband to tune with.

Otherwise your really gonna wanna look into handling upgrades.

Could get a new ignition coil and new spark plug wires, I personally like NGK. A higher flowing throttle body, 57mm.. Coilovers are pretty sick too.

Who knows, since there is no such thing as a JDM exhaust for an American made and sold car.

aftermarket coilpacks for the the 420a are only slightly better than stock and not worth it imo.
but screamin' demon is the best one.
don't go with iridium plugs, our engine's aren't designed for them. NGK coppers are the best.
if you get a bigger throttle body you need to have the intake port matched, otherwise you won't see any gain at all.

you could always get rid of the power-steering, and the a/c

Parts that come out of Japan that are made for anything other than a car that meant to be sold and driven in Japan.....isn't a real JDM auto part. It's just some bull crap to get people to buy junk

If your exhaust is ~ 2.5 diameter its fine. But saying you put a JDM exhaust on an eclipse is like saying I just put a Mopar exhaust on my my Camaro.

JDM = Japanese Domestic Market

DSM = Built in Normal, Illinois (not located in Japan, shockingly)

How can a car have JDM parts (which all JDM is, is OEM parts made for a Japanese version of a car), when there is no Japanese version? No parts for it created by Mitsubishi Motors of Japan, since the entire car was developed and built by Mitsubishi Motors of America. There is no JDM headlight conversion for our cars, no JDM designed exhaust, we aren't Hondas.

JDM Stands for Japanese Domestic Market.

Since DSM are American Domestic Market cars, I.E. every DSM was produced in Normal Illinois, and then exported, JDM is not a thing you get for an eclipse, talon, or laser.

you might get JDM performance parts for other vehicles. That is because there are not as many regulations, specifically emission regulations for vehicles in japan, and they often do have higher horsepower configuration vehicles sold in japan for makes such as mazda, honda, nissan, toyota, and even mitsubishi models that are JDM like the Mitsubishi GTO, or Mitsubishi Evolution.

I dont think you need an oil catch can for a Non-Turbo. Might as well install a wastegate, and a bov, maybe even and intercooler, with no turbo.
