Anyone using Apexi boost contollers

So I got curious about my Apexy boost controller today..So I did what anyone would do, I googled it..On Apexi's website They do not list anything anout the system, just that its mates with Mitsubishis..So I went down the list and heres what I found..Apexi Power FC boost Control Kit Nissan, Subaru, Mitsubishi - 415-A013

Now from this website this is what it states.."Non only the Apexi Power FC is a standalone ECU Management that can modify most engine parameters, but it is also a boost controller. By adding on the Apexi boost control kit, this ECU management system is one of the most power add-on. The user can adjust boost setting through the FC commander and monitor boost levels on the fly".

I'm oober confused, I thought it was just a bost controller.And My intentions were just to find out what model it was and how to set boost correctly..I always set boost by just unscrewing the two screws on the top, works like a charm..

Long post I know, but does anyone have any experience with these boost controllers?And if their"engine managment" is just BS they like to tell people..I mean for 350$ it better be damm good shouldn't it?

Well, I don't have any experience with one of these, but it appears it is intended to work in conjuction with the Power FC. The Power FC is the main standalone engine management system and the Power FC boost control kit that you have is made for the standalone system.

Are you sure you have the right product? The Apexi boost controller is an AVC-R. Is this what you have?

Well I know that I don't have an Apexi ecu..But thank you for adding the link that definatly cleared one thing up..

Apparently I dont have the AVC-R either..Apparently whoever had this car before me just bought and installed the boost controll solonoid, and not the ecu, or the AVC-R..
I can double check but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed the AVC-R by now..
