I have been having problems with my fuel gauge since I bought my 90. It drives me nuts. It reads fine above 3/4, or if I take the pump hanger out and fiddle with it, I can read below 1/2 fine. Once I fill it up again, it starts sticking. I have had this thing out about once a week since October. I am thinking about just going with Autometers universal sender p/n 3262, and an autometer gauge. My whole hanger assembly is shot, so I was going to try to fab up something here in the coming future. I just wondered if anyone here has used the sending unit? From what I have been looking at, it wouldn't be hard to fab up a new sending unit using the design of the original, with parts from the autometer.

Thanks
