Anyone use a off brand 02 recirculated external wastegate setup?

Anyone use a off brand 02 recirculated external wastegate setup the DSM flanges on the 02? I need this setup and Im trying to see whats out there. Dont want to spent 550 for the PR setup if there is something esle out there that works well. Better yet, sell me your setup

Just a quick note -

If you're going to use that style, you're going to find out real quick how big of a pain in the ass it is to bolt your downpipe up to that. As you can see, trying to get a bolt/nut in there is going to be a battle. Tightening it; near impossible.

Here's a hint : Weld in studs on that flange, that way you can simply slip your downpipe onto them and crank down on them to obtain a good seal. I've done this for a while now. Fought with trying to bolt up a downpipe once, never again.

Not sure if youve seen my thread but I have that 02 housing fit perfect, the only thing is its v band and full 3in. Its an ebay wastegate too and holds 27psi with no problems so far. Going to do 30 soon.

Is it difficult to wield studs in since its such a tight fit? Any other setups like this that the downpipe will bolt up to with no problem?

If you can fannagle a bolt through each of the slots, just give the head a good bead/tack is several times around the top to the flange. If you can find a housing that is has fixed bolts/studs I'd certainly recommend that.

Probably wont find it, so do you think if I tell PR that the dsm community is having a problem bolting there o2 to the downpipe, they will weld it?

I wouldn't bank on it, but any machine shop or weld service shop in your local area would be able to do it within a matter of minutes.

Might have found a used setup. How hard would it be to get the wastegate off and a new one on?
