Anyone tell from these pics if my timing is aligned right?

The timing is on in both of the pictures but like steve, gvr4592 and I said you CANNOT tell with the dowels upside down. You also cannot line a ruler across the timing marks and get them all to line up with the dowels facing up or down. You can get the marks on the inside of the gears to line up or the outside but not both.
