Definitely check local first. If you trust used tires, you can find some really good deals that way. I have bought used my last 2 tire changes with no issues.

If the OP is for real I apologize, but seems very strange that someone who owns a car doesn't know something as basic as where to buy tires. Just that!

I will try local tire shops first. Don't believe in buying something as important as tires in a used state, but that just me.

Buying used tires can be a gamble if you don't know what your looking for. Even tire wear needs to be checked. Also, the biggest thing people overlook is the date code. A tire can look brand new, but all tires have a shelf life. That can also be an issue when buying tires new from a shop. Of course they will want to sell you their old stock when they give you a "recommendation".

I'd recommend calling a few tire shops in your area. A lot of them will price match as tires are a very competitive market.

Walmart, discount tire, and Costco seem to be the best places to get your tires. I prefer Discount. They will beat any price you give them as long as they can confirm its real, plus all they do is tires so you know their staff will take care of your car. However, I'm sure each one of the aforementioned would take good care of your car.
