I'm in the process of restoring a 1997 TSI AWD and before I buy some parts online I'd like to know what the original part numbers for some stuff would be to verify what I'm buying is compatible or factory original equivalent. I can provide VIN or if someone can give me the program that would be even better.

ASA numbers won't work as even though they are the same parts Mitsubishi and Eagle often had separate part numbers and vehicle options.

Car is 5 speed with ABS, it doesn't look like it came with a factory amp and it has no sunroof. Interior was swapped by previous owner to gray from tan.

Right now what I need most is part numbers for harnesses.

Thanks.

Asa works fine except for talon specific items like body parts etc. You don't need a vin to use ASA. The only harness issues I would think would be stereo specific stuff and stuff in the hatch because the tails are different.
The problem I am running into is the option codes. ASA doesn't seem to expand on any of them. For the dome light wiring harness for example, I can't find a non-sunroof, non-garage door opener, illuminated mirror option.

Another issue is, on my body harness I actually have the part number, but no Eclipses have that part number so I am trying to figure out the equivalent.

I see your point. I'm probably not much help then. I suppose there is a possibility that there could be redundant wirinig. If I recall some cars had wiring for the disc changer even if they didn't have one. maybe no help. What are you trying to replace and why?

Pretty much every harness in this car has been hacked, multiple electrical issues, at this point it would be less time consuming to just replace harnesses then keep chasing down one electrical problem, fix it, only to find another.

If you need harnesses, performancepartout on eBay often has them along with the part numbers. (I know they are not Eagle part numbers but maybe he can help you out with the cross reference) He's out of some right now, but maybe what he has will help and maybe some other stuff that will help you too. He also has a site, performancepartout.com where you can buy directly from.
