anyone ever try trim restorer?

I saw a "trim restore" kit by turtle wax (I think, maybe it was 3m?) And was wondering if anyone has ever tried it with success. It basically consists of some type of polish and a sponge applicator. I realize I can just sand and repaint my window trim but this seems easier, especially for the molding around the windshield and rear window.

I think I have what you are talking about. I have tried it on the plastic on my jeep and it did a great job, but it didnt last very long. I havent tried it on a smoother, more soft plastic such as that on the window trim. Good Luck!

Yeah I know it's not permanent. The trim looks especially dull now that I'm waxing her in the summertime. How long does it last?

One trick my dad taught me growing up was to use baby oil. A few regular applications over the course of a month and it will stay good for about a year. I will be using tricks like this soon to get my car ready for MOD in Cypress, CA, .

Funny that's what this stuff looks like. I tried it, and it def looks better, but not nearly as good as paint. Just kinda shiny. Could've saved $6 and just got baby oil. Is he getting hit in the balls?
