Search and ye' shall find. 95% will say SSautochrome turbos suck the other 5% will hail them as the the king of cheap turbos. Take it from me as local guy and a big dsm fan, stay away from these turbos. I've had several friends spend 400 dollars on these turbos and have them fall apart not two weeks after. PM me for details if you'd like.

I have yet to hear anything positive about any of SSAutochrome's products. I have them in the same bucket of crap with Pacesetter.

obviously you have no experiance what so ever with their products.....there fmic kit is awsome and nearly EVERYONE on here who has it loves it.....as for turbos though, i dont think i would cheap out....

Their parts with non-moving parts in them, such as FMIC, are ok. There turbos and wastegates are not that well designed. I had one of their 50 trim turbos, and it had a bad seal in there and oil was just running right out of the turbo into my intake. Their wastegate i had purchased with the system did not have a sleeve therefore I would not hold any boost what so ever.

I looked at getting one of their manifolds because of how cheap they were, and the fact that they had a "lifetime warranty" on ebay. But after going to their website through a ebay link and looking at their contact info, they will not give a phone number. If you want to contact them it is strictly email which is shady. I did however attempt to email them 4 seperate times twice through ebay, and twice through their website asking what size of westgate flange came on the manifold. They never replyed. If they won't reply from a possible custumer, I gaurantee they won't reply when their product falls a part, or trying to claim work on a "lifetime warranty".

Actually, their warranty isn't bad at all, I didn't recieve a sleeve at all when I got my products, notified them a couple months later when finding out.........and they sent me on..

Their opening on the headers are smaller than the ports on the head, so I recommend take the time and bore you headers out. Another common i've heard with the mani's are that the plate that connects the headers and turbo isn't strong enough and has a tendancy to break, so make sure you reinforce the headers themselves.

There is a forum on here that someone bought a T3T4 turbo from them.... and he said it works great. Everyone on here beats products THEY NEVER USE, just go by what HONDA people say cause there manifolds broke off...its a damn honda........not many people will say its shit on a DSM thats actually USED the product.

Hence your 5%. Again, you'll have to do your own research before committing to buy such a vital part to your performance setup.

A local guy near me bought a manifold from them. I dont know how its holding up, but i can tell you the welds looked like my 4 yearold got a hold of my soldering gun!

it's hit and miss, I think Shep or Bushur used there 02 housing for a laugh and picked up some ponies, Which ever one has a forums you can see on there. There wastegates, bov are identical to the real thing. Hence Dejon now offer knockoff's and they charge more for the same thing but nobody flame's them. There FMIC are the rage and people are happy about those. There manifolds well there are a few people that run them on this board and have no problems, of course your gonna hear about the bad. I think alot more DSMers have ssautochrome on there vehicles then they would like people to know cause hey most DSMers are cheap, it's a fact since it comes with the age of the car and young kids buying them. There turbo's well I don't know I know there is a guy dynoing his SSauto setup with turbo, manifold and all and is beating the carp out of it with no issues. Your choice do your research and make the leap. I always wondered if there such garbage why do people still buy them even when they are educated about them? Good luck

A truthful and honest statment, all I said was dont bash till you try. Most the time you just hear about the bad cause the ones who use them and like it wont talk cause people will just talk crap about it.
