Well i just painted my 95 GST and i think the silver lower trim in the bumper lasted me a week, it's already all scraped and unpainted from the streets, i plan to repaint that with a spay can but my question is:
Is there any way to help prevent this?
Like i was thinking attaching a rubber, platic piece(nicely trimmed) to the bottom of the front bumper with some double sided tape(good tape)

Anyone done anything like this? Any solutions? Do you have the same problem? if so what did you do?

i have a friend with a civic, that welded some metal piece that sits about a 1/2 under the front bumper and that scraps now instead...

i also heard of diamond plate being bolted to the bottom of the bumper...

but the best way to solve you problem is too...

slow down and get sideways

You've got two options:
a) raise the car up a little bit
b) ANGLE ANGLE ANGLE

I have stock height yet my aftermarket bumper seems to like to hit everything, after awhile it just becomes a habit, I even angle in other people's cars now.

dont drive it at all :)
mine scrapped all the time with stock suspention.
now it REALLY does.
