i just changed my tire size from 19 to 17 and my car now is extremely low!! i mean any tiny pothole hits my exhaust pipes!!! i heard of a kit that separates the springs an makes it a bit taller wondering if anyone could help me with this!!!

What are you running right now? Lowering Springs, Coilovers, hacked stock springs? If its just springs, I would get Tein S.Tech springs, it gives you a modest drop, 1.5 I think, vs stock (that means no more hitting tiny pot holes for you) and a ok ride.

im running 235/40/18's with a wide offset so there about 1 inch wider than the fenders, with a 2" drop do you guys think they will rub?

i have a brand new suspension i forgot the name something alumi, its the white ones n i have springs not coilovers. but i found out that the 3 inch exhaust piping is the thing that hits all small potholes i wonder if i could raise that

so i have lowered mine also and its do for alignment... ive taken it to 3 places and they said they either cant or wont do it because it sits to low and the lowered suspension is a pain in the ass to align...

what should i do

Do you have the camber kits? If not, get them and then have it aligned. Save your tires.....:thumb:

I don't have experience with them first hand, but ingals come to mind for camber kits...

camber might seem annoying, but it's cheaper than a new set of tires every couple months/ whatever else you phuks up from bad camber and I think you mean illumina, they're tokico's and for what it's worth there's no such thing as TOO LOW:D but I'd just get 18's and call it a day.

It's up to you; spend the money now or every once and a while. You can't go wrong with a toe/camber kit. It is a recommended upgrade regardless. Save tires, save money, look good.

Trust me,there is such a thing as "too low" :thumb:

Oh yes there is such thing as TOO LOW. Going too low could hurt performance, in this case you could be so low you run into problems like your exhaust hitting every speed bump you go over. I had my RS so low that I hit a pot hole, cracked my rim, blew the shock to the point where that one corner had the tire tucking in the fender.

I would suggest new springs that go no lower than 1.5 inch drop.

ingals make great camber kits i had a 2in drop on my rsx back in the day and it destroyed tires untill i put the kit on and had it allinged. i would almost say its a must when you lower a car more than 1 in

sweet ill check into ingals... i have heard about them before a friend of mine has a 2g talon i think with that stuff on it... but unfortunately for him he has spun rod bearings. ill let u kno how it comes out... but i am also in the middle of a build myself so theyre not a top priority at the moment
