Any info on this part for 420A?

I got mine on ebay. Just type in crank scraper in the search box. I am putting mine on tomorrow. I let everyone know how install was and if it actualy makes a difference!!

just put it on. install took a few hours and wasnt too bad to do. I am going to drive it for a day or so, so i can get a feel for the difference if any. I will keep everyone posted!!

DId you have to use any gaskets?

Or did you use two?

I used all original parts gaskets included, I just put some rtv silicone on everything to ensure i tight seal. As for the answer everyone is waiting for. Did the part make a difference...... YES. The engine after a bit of driving seemed to run a little smoother. It had a little more pep but it wasnt like i added nitrous or anything. There seemed to be some more power but its not like it pushed me back into my seat. Overall for $50 i would say it was worth it!!

Well , im on your bandwagon. Mine is on the way, I wont be a real good judge though. The head is off so Im doing the scraper, underdrive pulley, full exhaust and headwork all at once.

Got it on , put on a underdrive crank pulley at the same time. monster difference in how quick it revs. I am a believer

I purchased one for the 4G63T today. My pops has been a race engine mechanic for over thirty years, so I consulted him before I purchased it. He says it definately frees up the crank from being bogged down with oil. He also said it keeps the oil from foaming. So that being said, I purchased one right away. It'll be a while before I get mine on due to the fact that I'm putting new gaskets, bearings and seals in. I'll also be removing the balance shaft and upgrading the intercooler piping and blow off valve. You gotta love cheap horsepower.
