Ok, here are the mods, Je 9 to 1's, crower rods, built head, Pte 60-1, buschur front mount, VPC with 550 chip, 660cc denso injectors, and a cozmo fuel pump. The car ran great, but i couldn't leave it alone. So I bought cams, I got comps, a mild set and I wasn't happy. The only power increase was from 6000 to redline. So I bought a set of webcams race grinds 276/274 ( please dont comment how they suck, or hks is better, because i have a friend who has hks's these are just as good if not better ). Ok cams are in, degree is set and the car rips, very sucky at idle, I had to run an AFC and a Gcc with the Vpc to run this thing at idle. the Afc was set strictly at -50 at 1000 thats it, because I was only pulling 2 inches of vacume. That said, the car ran great but began to get phantom knock, I replaced the lifters with the new style (solved the problem). Now I need more rev limit so I bought an eprom ecu and a chip from keydiver. The chip is a stage 3, rev limit is 9000, it is set up for a vpc 550 chip and 660cc injectors, I had him exclude the clutch options because my clutch safety is undun. Ok this car is now unbelievable, the power is sick, so I get some race gas and turn the boost up from 20-30, now its insane but when I go back to regular 94 and 20 lbs all kinds of problems, started with the o2 not reading into fully rich at WOT so I replaced the sensor. That prob. solved, then the car would just die under any load, changed the pump, to a supra pump (hard wired), prob. solved. Now we're up to date and here is my problem, the car breaks up at 6300 rpm like bad ignition wires, but they're new magnecores, new plugs, new coil pack, new module, went to 780cc injectors, -6an fuel line only pump to rail, switched to a gm maft/afc (way better tuning for big cams), spoke with key diver and he said the diff. in the burn of the chip would be -17% of fuel for the vpc/660cc set up as opposed to -40% of fuel for the maft/780cc, i can comp for that on the injector settings on the maft. Oh and I changed the pressure regulator too. ANY INFO WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED, thanks Marty ,
I have logs too and i'll post them next.
