Any GOOD alternator brand???

I am having mad problems with my alternator. Three days ago it died. I replaced it under the warranty and today it died again. The previous owner of my talon used to change the alternator every other day. I have been told that AutoZone alternators are the biggest crap ever and thats why they give you lifetime warranty.
I went to buy the stock Mitsubishi for $320 and have been told that Mitsubishi alternators in US are basically remanufactured.
Any suggestions based on experience of a RELIABLE alternator???

can you define "dying"?

I have used Autozone alternators in many of my cars and never had a problem

I've heard that alot of people have issues with Autozone alternators and after 3 or 4 go, they always end up goin with OEM. Check out Alterstart alternators. High quality, and its high output, 100A i think. www.4alterstart.com

when I mean dead, I mean it stops working / charging. After putting it, I test it with a meter and it does charges, today, three days after, is not charging anymore. I dont know if it is AutoZone down here in Miami, FL but I hear the worst about their alternators and so far my experience is that.

Could there be any electrical problems causing this?

They also told me to go with AC Delco and Delphi... I am looking for those too...

Autozone stuff is never really any good, I mean most shops have thier pro's and con's but I know there eletrical stuff is crap, I have used it before and it just dies.

I don't yet but I am planning on buying one soon, my alternator is on its way out. If you search for alterstart, alot of people on here have them and I haven't heard anyone complain.

before buying another alternator, I would be checking the electrical system for any problems. With as many as you and the previous owner have gone through, it just sounds like you might have another problem...
