If anyone's curious, that's the link to our little group. not much here in lafayette since johnny law cracked down. not to mention most peoples situation with money.

those of you that might inquire as to what the heck "malerium" is... from what i understand, it's the experience when a fast car flys by you like you're standing still. I don't know, it's a made up word, i'll just go with it...
 
Wannarace What up. Lets plan for this to happen first weekend of next month. Im riding with you if I still havent found my new car. Someone in BRLA needs to go find a spot for this to happen.
 
Scratch that. I have to work that weekend. Lets plan for next month but sometime in the middle. My wifes going out of town so that would be the perfect time. Ill get the dates later when I get home from work. Ill do as much of the planing as possible. I just need someone in BRLA to find a spot. And I say we call for any type of cars the first time around so 5 cars dont just show up. then we will be able to see if a DSM only meet will work for next time around. Any suggestions?
 
I think State Capitol Raceway would be the easiest for everyone. Its right off 190W and you can't miss it. If anyone would rather No Problem or somewhere else, speak up. Just my 0.02 for you guys.

On September 13th, State Capitol Raceway is having a show/drag. It's $5 bucks and just straight dragging. I went to one last weekend and had a good time. Cheap and lots of cars and bikes. Ton's of V8 Mustangs with superchargers. Be nice to have some DSM's there.

i wish i could come but i highly doubt my dsm would make it there i live in picayune about 2 hours away but i dont know if yall ever want to set something up in new orleans let me know
 
hey guys, i live in moss bluff, i have a 91 eclipse gst. and have only seen a few dsm's around here. as everyone was saying about state capitol raceway and no problem. i have raced my Jr. Dragster at both tracks plenty of times, and both are great tracks. i would love to meet some of yall.

I just finished putting my 1g together today, it started up just fine, so its alive finally. Time for me to make some meets in the future.:rocks::rocks::rocks::rocks::rocks:
 
Ok. So im calling it out. The date is Sept 6th.

Location is TBD.

Im going to call on more than just DSM's, I think. Any input on that idea?

If this meet goes well than the following one will be at the track and DSM's only.

ANy Ideas on time?
 
i could try to make it my tranfercase is starting to leak bad i read theres a recall on it so im headin to the dealer tom.
 
Good luck and god speed with getting that transfer case recall! Just stick to your guns and be a swore thumb up their butts and you may, MAY, just get it.

September 6th sounds good to me as well. Location and Time? We could all meet in the mall parking lot in Baton Rouge right off I-10. I think sometime in the evening would suffice.
 
I can make it on the 6th in Baton Rouge. LSU plays Troy at home at 7pm. Any Tiger fans want to go after the meet?
 
Oh god. I didnt realize There was an LSU game. I was thinking of having the meet at 5-6ish
