Well, I'm taking mine to the shop, it wont go past 4500 at wot(whats wot?). It jumps from 1500-2000 rpm. 1st gear isn't working properly, and not but not least I have no idea if my oil pressure gauge is connected because it reads nothing.

I just bought it, the guy rebuilt the engine, but I don't think he did the timing right, I have no mechanic experience so I'm going to have someone do it for me. This is my first turbo car and when I step on it it hits real good I love it. He put a big16g on it.

Feel you on the first turbo car deal... same here. So far its been a pain in the ass... needs more attention than my girlfriend! But I love the way the car looks. Well you should start getting your hands a little dirty and get some mechanical experience under your belt... practice makes perfect.

Anyway guys, today is the start of my new engine build! Got me a 6 bolt turbo block that I will put in the machine shop this week. Have Eagle H-Beam Rods already, and looking to order my pistons maybe within the next two weeks. I just hope my car holds up for a while!

I went with 2 of my buddies mike and alex. (vergeTsi, and Zclipse). I wanted to dyno but name never got called and had to go to work. Ill be down for the meet/cruise. I dont drive around too far so i have no good suggestions...
