really thats why im hoping we get at least a dozen people on the list, because i can count on at least half of them won't show up because their cars won't make it.
i added you to the list too rodrigo and if you cant make it cause of your car then PM me and maybe the week after friday we'll setup a meet to go fix it, i guess thats if you got the money for the parts and its not too crazy of a job.

around what time did you guys want to meet up?

im with rene one this on alex... i think 7-7:30'ish would be ideal for everyone, the lines to get in aren't 50 cars deep yet and its not that late eiter. im going to try and get there around then but im not racing... if some of you are going to run on friday then get there when the tech opens, we'll just be "meeting" around 7. sound good???

you should come down a night early in your dsm... if your coming down friday night we're all meeting up at qualcomm around 7'ish, that would be sweet if you could join.

...which reminds me...
i know we're all from SD but if you don't know EXACTLY how to get to qualcomm just ask for directions or google map it. we don't need anyone driving around completely lost friday and getting pulled over for looking modified by the CHP.

it was nice to see a few DSMs down at racelegal friday night, its just to bad that not every showed up at the time we had hoped for earlier in the thread. i know im guilty too, sorry! guess i should have realized that since i was bringing the girl getting ready means more than just throwing on a shirt & pants and giving the car a bath i do think this was a sweet start and hopefully we get a bigger showing of cars next time?

hey alex i got your text about the WOT at idle (idle surge) and found something for you... i like you thinking that i have all the answers but really i just jump on tuners and do a little forum searching til i find your answer. heres a link to your fix Terry's Talon Troubleshooting Tips #3 - Fast Idle (aka. Idle Surge) just call if you need help with anything... ill be working on my fuel stuff the rest of the week and my porting (or lack there of) as well...

does the next racelegal date work for everyone then? hopefully we'll have a few more DSM's there and a few more DSM's wanting to race as well.

heres the date... 03OCT 6pm to midnight.

6pm is WAY WAY too early since nobodys there yet and a line starts popping off at around 830pm. i think that since everyone that did end up going had a hard time finding the other DSM's there (since its impossible to all show up at once) ill park outside the entrance and wait for other cars to show up til 8pm. whoever does show up we'll go in and if your not racing don't park all up in the mass of cars, park a ways back so people who come in late can see your car. if anyones got any ideas toss them out there, we've got til the 3rd to come up with something...

well as soon as the races are on saturdays i may have a chance to go. Or hopefully if i get to go to 1st shift next year... Reason i dont take a day off to go down there is cause these guys always flake Hit me up when theres a DSM meet on a weekend. I need a weekend off soon so i can put a few mods on my car

Well... I would race if my car was to the point where I know I would do more good than bad.. I need to replace the tie-rods on both sides and fix an oil leak before I even think about racing.

One Idea for the next meet, instead of everyone showin up late and/or not finding the rest of the DSMs, we should segregate a section of the lot, say along the fence as you come in. Easy to see, right?

Either way, anyone who goes will see me there.

haha. . Alex could probably be a lil more helpful and bring napkins also to wipe my hands. Cause i know he aint gonna work on my car.. Yeah, ill probably pm you my number. I usually work on my car pretty fast and usually early in the morning. I got a few things i may try putting on during the week though, just to save me time on the weekend. I even gotta put new brake pads on my girls car plus an oil change.. I seen a silver 2g on youtube that had bronze rims, it looked nice.

i usually do installs by myself too unless im not so sure about things... which is most of the time. ill probably be at the base hobby shop fixing my boost creep issues (and taking my anger out on my car) with a die grinder and some carbide bits porting everything MORE than what i did before...
