I know i've been missing for a while now but due to time and money im gonna try to make it to one of the race dates in march. Either the 6 or 13. Also depending how the weather is. I just been sick at home for 3 days after working on my car while it was raining and cold as hell outside. Still waiting for Alex to let me know if he ordered those damn parts, or do i have to order them myself.

I was kicking it with the dood with the light green talon, his paint color was tripping me out since I hadn't seen a talon with that kinda factory paint. He is one of the few guys in all of California that converted their fwd to awd. Probably even the only 2g talon in cali that has done that. It was cool for the 10 minutes i was there but i guess that was the last Eastlake meet now.

Oh man, not to burst your bubble or rain on your parade, but I've seen them in person and they're quite terrible. The backlight color does NOT stay to your previous setting and must be set each time to your preference. I can't comment on the accuracy of the readouts though.

We can always have small get togethers in the area still. Large gatherings will always produce a negative vibe towards this community, especially with the loud and raspy Hondas. I wouldn't mind setting aside some time to meet you guys in person.

Anyway, I'm down to have a meet. Anyone have any suggestions to where to have it at and what day? It would be cool just to get together right after washing our cars and snap a few pictures of our cars next to each other. Its just that most guys woulnd't want to go in a caravan and call out the attention we do not want specially since pretty much everyone here is modified. What I have in mind at the moment is the Plaza Las Americas parkinglot in San Ysidro since its fairly big and doesn't get filled. There are a few fast food restaurants there also. Las Americas Premium Outlets I think that place is a good candidate because I do not see the police around there much besides the border patrol LULZZ. Maybe the McDonalds that is right infront of that mall within the parking complex would be perfect for a meet. Also a park would work out. Something off of any main freeway and an area that isn't burnt out would be great.

There are a shitload of NICE parks here in Eastlake, unless our little community patrolmen are deemed scary now hahaha. I've also seen a huge and well-planned Mustang meet event at the park off Palm Ave. and 805 [near AMC 24]. Any other ideas?

OH, and at the very east end of Olympic Parkway, there's the parking lot right off of the huge lake here. Additionally, there's a "short twisty course" alongside it for those wanting to test out their handling and driver mod.

Which park is it that is by the amc 24 and 805? Some girl showed me a park that is pretty concealed in a neighborhood area off the 805, one exit north of palm (main st)but doesn't really have much of parking. I know any park we can't get hustles for "loitering" or anything of that nature because thats what they are there for. Hey maybe even that parkinglot off of that Main exit on the 805 in chula vista (Chula Vista Crossings) with the panda expres, pier one and Kohl's. ChulaVistaLiving.com : Your community, Your Website. The panda express there would be nice BUT that place has a really small parkinglot that is pretty much full all the time. So far the plaza las americas or that park off the 805 sound good. Idealy somewhere where cops are laid back and security guards won't be breathing down our neck if we do have a big turnout.

I like the soup plantation there, but that area is always busy. If you're coming southbound and exit on Palm Ave, you would turn right and the park would be on the left. Are you referring to the park off of Brandywine Ave. and Sequoia? It's inbetween Main St. and Olympic. There's also a park at the end of east Main St. going into heritage. It's located in the Vista community.

I also recall seeing S2000 meets at the Starbucks near Ikea.

When did you use to go, i pass by there every tuesday for a second to talk to some friends and i've never seen another Eclipse/Talon there except for that Maroon GST, but he doesnt come anymore...
