The fastest t28 DSM I've personally seen run at the track went something like 17.5 @ 70mph and it was a GSX on ECMLink. I'm not the one ruining all your fun, that turbo is/will be shortly... ROFL

:dsm:

did it cut a 1.6 60' or a 1.6 60"
It wasn't a 17.5, I take that back since I just went back and looked it up on LADSM. Heres the only t28 setup I've seen run and he only went down the track once he was so embarrassed. It was an A/T GSX too...

R/T - .661
60' - 3.090
330 - 7.425
1/8 - 10.693
MPH - 76.01
1000 - 13.483
1/4 - 15.853
MPH - 95.14

All this about a t28, I thought my turbo was a t25, interesting

I won't be ashamed, I would make a few passes down the track just to see if I could do better, but I know I won't... The fwd just doesn't pull as much as the awd

This was about your 55 trim turbo with a .49 AR hotside Chris but Isaiah posted this...
:thumb: I'm down to push my little t25 too, let's go fast
Isaiah doesn't have a t25 though, he's got a t28 and he was trying to be sneaky. :sneaky:

So... comes to find out i had a major boost leak at the track LOL. one of the bolts in the compressor housing of my 20g was totally missing.. not sure if it was ever there. put a new one in and it poped a intake hose clamp off. then when i went back to put it back on the t-bolt broke YAY, cant win for losing man.

at least i had a worm gear to put in place for the time being.

well i tried adjusting the clutch

the rod falls out of the c clip thing before the slave ever stops being able to move back and autoadjust, this possibly a good indication that my clutch assym is worn?? slave and master do not leak at all

:tease: it's funny you guys are talking about this. I too was curious about the whole "can I get more power from this puny little turbo" thing. I started doing the search about PSI per turbo, I found that there is no real maxed out PSI data. I kid you not it just has a "?" :ohdamn: so this makes me believe that there is just no real 11 to 12 second cars out there running a t25 or t28 from what I've seen the B14 dominates as far as Max PSI and HP output I think the article said Max HP for the b14 was 278hp with a boost controller of course.

I'm new to Turbo cars so this is a learning curve for me, I'm just happy I know about engines in general or else I would have totally started freaking out when I heard the turbo spool

when the turbo cant provide more... replace the turbo with a new power adder LOL

I know I know ..LOL of course your going to achieve 11 seconds with NOS I was just referring to t25, t28 power output alone without all of the goodies. My wife's car is probably going to run on a b14 setup because she only wants about 310hp. This way I will have a extra 16g laying around just in case :thumb: she has a 16g with no support mods :banghead: the guy we bought it from thought all you have to do is slap in a bigger turbo . We could totally just go through the list of things I get asked and have to tell her not to do. Thankfully she listens ...for the most part:D:D

hmmm....I guess i can fit you in to my schedule as its pretty tight right now. it goes like this

4pm
430pm :rocks:
445pm:aha:
500pm:tease:
522pm:banghead::ohdamn:
530-1000pm

im sure you will fit somewhere in there unless you want to be in the 530-1000 time frame but it may not be to pleasant for you

time i have, just didnt know if any one had done it around here. i can get the bronze bushings for the shaft to replace the plastic ones and another arm for approx 50 or so shipped, or i could just re use the current arm. I have a welder so if you have any pointers for doing this my self that would be cool. ive looked up all the threads i could and it looks simple enough.

i'm willing to bet this is my issue however, clutch enguagement is literally 1 inch off the floor and the rod is on the last 2 threads. the first couple inches of movement feel like im just pushing the spring and then i hear a click, which i assume is the large spring in the assym

Where do you plan on getting it sent off to for a rebuild Bryan? Talk to VergeTSi (Alex) cause he has a 1g thats been inop for 5 years, I'm sure he'd let you use the pedal assy if you uninstall/reinstall it yourself.
