Picked up a cheap ebay alum radiator kit from a local here. It's new in the box and comes with some cheap looking 10" slimline fans. I'll need slim fans on the new turbo setup. Already tried to fit the factory fans with no luck. Just wondering if anyone has had luck with 2 low power 10" fans and no schroud. I can go to a decent twin 12" setup but if it's not needed it seems like a waste to not just run these.

Thks...

I have a hx 35 installed on my 92 talon. I had a problem with a stock fan. I found the solution mounting 2 10" at the front of the radiator. I wired it to the stock wiring. It has been working fine. I don't have A/C .

Thanks for the input! But I do have AC so that would prove difficult. I haven't tried to fit them though so it may be possible. I'll look into it. Did you just use the zip lines that go through the radiator to mount the fans with no schroud I'm assuming?

I have twin 10" fans on a stock radiator. I have them mounted in a PUSH configuration. No AC, but the FMIC is in front, with the fans in between the FMIC and radiator. Mine runs at normal temps, sometimes goes a little above center on the gauge on 90+ degree days around town, but never over heated. I assume with a new radiator or a good aluminum one, I would not see the spike. Also, I do not have a shroud, they are just mounted with the kit they came with, wired to the stock fan wiring so the ECU controls them

Yes I used the zip ties supplied from the fan Manufacture
