ANY Big power with MAFT blow though

Does anyone know of any DSMer that is making good power with the GM maft settup as a blow though on the UICP? I am interested in the settup, but it seems no one is making good power with it vs. Draw through.
 
A friend of mine, Frontwheeler is his sign in, is making around 300 to the wheels with his 1G AWD and he is running a MAFT on the UCIP. Pm him, I am sure he'll respond, if not, get back to me and I will let him know.

I am almost posotive that it is a 3" maf, second why would there be issues with an "expansion chamber action" with the maf. Anyone running with a gm maf would have these issues if it was something to worry about. Air is air it isn't going to react different in the uicp just because you are making over 450 at the wheels as compared to only 300.
 
only bad thing i have heard about hte maf-t is that you will kill the sensor if oil is running though your intake
 
95GSXRacer is making more than 450 whp for sure.

A friend of mine ran 11.9 @ 116 with the 3" sensor on an EVOIII 16g.

Someone ran 10's...
 
My friends dyno on a blowthru....had to let off due to fuel issues. Stock 6 bolt, BR580.

you won't kill the sensor you wil just get bad readings since it will hinder the maf's ability to read how much air is flowing over the heated wires. However, if you have that much oil running through your intake tract then you have other problems to address.
 
Cool, you guys sound likeyou know what your taking about, so the last question...

I have heard of issues with 1g to 2g MAS conersion, and then running the 2g MAFT settup b/c they have a 2g plug. I have heard of 2 instences where it did not work at all, have anyone here heard or know of an issure with this, because I am currently running a 2g MAS

this doesn't make any sense, If you want to use the gm maf you don't use a dsm mas as well. if you are going to use a 1g harness/ecu then go to ramchargers.com and buy the 1g maf translator, then buy the gm maf and you are set. There is no reason to deal with a 2g mas.

Let me break it down for you. As of right nowm, I have a 1g ecu and 1g harness. I am running a 2g MAS in my car, hence the 1g ecu, 2g mas combo

The MAFT plugs into the stock MAF plug, for which I now have a @ G MAF PLUG intead on a 1g, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE 1G ECU AND HARNESS. Is this coming though now?


I have heard people having problems with this, I cannot see why, but I have heard this more than a few times, this is why I ask.
 
With the current MAFT version, it's a non issue.

It supports both 1g and 2g ECU's

So order the 2g version to be plug compatible and set it to 1g mode

helped a local guy put down 482whp with 60-1 and nitrous. he also had a keydiver chip for his 880's, but the maft was his only other tuning tool since he accidentaly fried his e-manage setup.
