Any big brake kit that will clear the stock 17' gsx rims?

I'm looking for a big brake kit for my 98 gsx that will clear my stock rims. I have done my research and so far the evo calipers, 3000gt/vr4 calipers wont clear my rims. I want to keep my rims but also have better stopping power. I am currently looking at the cobra big brake kit but I'm not sure if those will clear either. I also don't want to put spacers in if I don't have to, I won't mind small ones, just as long as they don't hang out of the fender well to much. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

I have the TCE FSL Brake kit and it clears my 17 stock gsx rims with no problems. 13 inch rotors and a 4 pot wilwood caliper.

i only have the pics from my profile with my old 19s that i got rid of. you can get an idea of what the kit looks like. But as far as spacing between the caliper and the inside of the rim itself, there is about a cm gap. as far as the kit itself, TCE does a great job of getting the fitment down. the install itself was rather easy as well. great value for what you get really. as far as the performance goes its literally night and day for the stopping distance, the thing i really noticed was you can heat them up over and over again and there is next to no brake fade when comparing to the stock set up. i would have gone with something bigger than the FSL but i switch between my 18s in the summer and 17s in the winter so clearance for me was important.

I noticed in the pic that the caliper was wilwood. Is that the caliper they include in the tce kit? Or did you order that specifically? Btw you setup looks great!

the default is the FSL, you can go with a BSL or a 6n, but then you can run into clearance issues. from the spacing with the 17s you might be able to get away with the 6n if you were set on 6 pots. But when i spoke with todd he told me that the pad sise is the same and there really isnt much to gain performance wise by upgrading from the FSL to the BSL.

Awsome, thanks! I briefly looked at the Baer kit but I don't know which one to go with, the only big factor is the Baer kit is like $400 less
