I know this is a retarded question,
Just almost finished installing my new evo3 16g turbo and fp race exhaust manifold. I have been using 2400 degree F Loctite nickel antiseize. I have been applying it on the threads of the bolts ant studs liberally. After i had torqued everything down on my Exhaust manifold to turbo i noticed i forgot to place one washer on a bolt. When i took the bolt back out there was no anti seize on the threads but it was more in the middle shaft of the bolt. so i re-applied it and re-torqued it. When i was bolting my manifold and turbo to the head i figured i would try the same thing, to back off with a couple of the studs and nuts after being tightnened. Same thing. stud had no anti seize on the threads where it was tightened to in place and the nut looks bare on the threads as well. Is this just my thinking of thought that somethings not going on right here? I really don't want to have parts seized together after this. Is anti seize not supposed to be stuck to the threads even after moving a nut over them?
