Another MAF Question

Hey everyone. I'm gathering parts to do the gm maf and maf-t mod so i can set up my rfl to vent. yes i love the sound and if you wanna flame me for this then your just in denial cause everyone loves it. except little old ladies. Well i was looking at some GM MAFs on ebay and came across one that said its been descreened and all for higher flow and the divider's been cut out from what i can tell. But my question is will it affect the funtionability (i dont even think thats a word but you know what i mean) of the unit on a dsm. Its a 3 in and ive read on here that a 3 in is better than a 3.5 in. Ive done alot of studying on here bout this and i haven't read anything bout the z06 MAF. which is the best? I'm looking for 400+ horse power out of my tsi when I'm done with it. well relatively done with it. . a car in my oppinion is never really DONE. . well maybe yall can enlighten me and spread some knowledge. thanks

Just buy one from your local junkyard or one that is not all hacked up. Around here, They are $37.00 in good working condition. There are over 50 different cars that you can get the 3" mafs from.

You also need to know how to tune the maft, And you NEED a datalogger before you even think about installing the maft and tuning.
