Just helped a friend get v3 full set up on his talon we just finished putting together.

Mods are as follows:
intake
exhaust
egay 16g
v3 full
MTX-L (simulating narrowband with link)

The only sensor I've dialed in so far is the TPS, other than that I haven't really touched anything minus playing with the antilag feature. We were going to set timing until we realized his lower timing cover is off, so it idles anywhere from 15-33 degrees of timing. OMG

Also, it won't run with the 1g MAF set up in link, it goes to like 19+ AFR, but when using the 2g or evo settings it will idle and run much better (15/12 AFR respectively). I'm assuming his MAF is bad as he accidentally left it out in the rain over night, but we'll throw my MAF and see. We also just got the ecmlink SD package so we're hoping to dial in the VE table using my MAF.

The other thing is that I'm not sure that the o2 is cycling properly. Maybe I just don't have it set up right in link, but it just jumps from .20v to .80v. We're using an MTX-L that's seen maybe 20 minutes of run time and have the wideband output wired into the ecu, simulating narrowband through link.

Take a look and let me know what to change/adjust. I know a lot still needs dialed in, just been busy working. Should have a SD log in the near future too.

I've got this same thread on the ecmlink forums, but I know there are plenty of helpful people here too.

Make sure you get your base timing set, no boost leaks, and check base fuel pressure.
Not too familiar with link yet. Some things I noticed tho:
You say you have it set up for wb sim but I don't see any pin assignments made for that. Bout 4min into this video. Direct access --> ECU Inputs and then assign your pin for the front O2. v3narrowbandsim [ECMTuning - wiki]
Your maf type, which you know about already.
Why do you have your target idle set for 1000?
Read everything in the wiki knowledge base on ecmlink.com and watch all the videos the posted too. Lots of good info there! :thumb:

Hope this helps. Can someone with a brain for this chime in please. Just in case my brain needs adjusting. LOL
