Ok, I posted already on another website, and haven't gotten an answer back, so I'm also posting here, I'm just going to copy and paste what I have already posted:

Annoyance, how to get rid of it?
Okay, so this has been bugging me for a few weeks, and now that I've put my AFPR in and it is still going on I felt the need to post.

When I have the MBC turned all the way down (which I have for the most part as I have a lot of little things left to do) it is around 14 PSI with a creep. When I turn it up a little (anywhere from 16 PSI to 21 PSI) it will run great, AFRs are still a little rich where I haven't really tuned it for WOT yet other than giving it extra fuel for now, and all is fine and dandy. Until I've gone WOT more than once or twice. Then, all of a sudden, after I boost for a second or so at my desired boost, I will notice a power loss, the boost guage will jump from wherever I'm at (usually 16 - 20 PSI) to around 25, so I let off the gas, and then the BOV barely even makes a sound as if it isn't holding much pressure. It happens more often and at lower RPMs in 5th gear than any other. I also haven't noticed it happening at all when I have my MBC turned all the way down, my only problem then is creep (but I don't want to run it turned down what's the point in using an e316g?)

Based on the symptoms, and my limited knowledge, I've come to my own theory that it is either my MBC itself, or becuase it is coming off the BOV return line, and I'm posting here to see if someone can confirm or deny my theory, and if confirmed pinpoint whether it is the vacuum line routing or the MBC. The reason I think it may be the MBC itself is becuase it is a bleeder type MBC (I think that's what its called) with the open hole at the bottom that sucks in air unless I do have it turned all the way down.

So, based on this information, what do you guys think is the culprit of my problem along with the easiest and best solutions?

2nd posting by me:

You may be right, but I don't think I explained well enough what my symptoms are...

I was under the impression that "boost creep" is where, I have it set at 16 PSI, and I go WOT, and it is at 16PSI, then slowly creeps up to 20-22 PSI as my RPMs rise I've read that when you have an e316g and an internal wastegate, wastegate pressure usually eliminates creep when you are set at 20-22 PSI. The problem I'm trying to explain is different than what I thought boost creep is. It is where (even when I"m running 21 PSI, although it happens at less than 21 PSI) I will go WOT, boost will hold steady at wherever I'm set, and then a Sudden split second jump, and it is at 25 PSI or so, I've even noticed it get to nearly 30 when I'm not very quick about letting off the gas. When I do let off the gas, the BOV barely makes a sound.

When I turn the MBC all the way down, I'm only running about 14PSI, I have what I thought was boost creep, where it will be at 20 PSI by the time I'm in the Upper RPM range, but I never have this problem with the instant 10+ PSI jump according to my gauge accompanied by power loss.

Also, when I turn the boost up at all (from a completely closed position at 14 PSI), I can go WOT, and drive around without this problem usually(but not always) for a decent amount of time. When it happens once, it will continue to happen over and over again every time I am full throttle and as if I don't have a boost controller, it will go well into the upper 20s at this point if I go WOT and I know this is detrimental to my car. If I'm only like 1/4 throttle, I can keep the boost down to about 20 PSI if I want, but I don't really try driving it like this. If I park it, let it cool down, and get back in, the problem goes away; however, usually when this happens, I will just turn the boost controller all the way down, and that will fix it, but leave me at 14 PSI with a slow creep.

It sounds like a combination of both your mbc and routing of it. you should always hook up your mbc between the nipple of your wastegate and the turbo itself. Also it sounds like your mbc is leaking. I had a problem similar to this and found out my mbc was bad. Try changing it out with a different mbc like hallman or turboxs, etc. See if that helps with your boostin problems.
As for your bov purging problem, i think its related to your mbc and routing of it. I believe if you fix those two things it should fix it.

That's what I was under the impression of too just wasn't really sure. I'm trying to sell the car too so I'm not sure whether another MBC will be worth it or not but if I have it more than a couple of weeks I'll be looking for a good used one probably.
