ok so i bought a 96 eclipse which i thought had a stock turbo with a spearco fmic...but im not sure if the turbo is a t25 of a t28 now..i have a bad boost leak which im fixing now..but i was just wondering if it could be a t25 and the boost leaks could be making the gauge read wrong..also the gauge is new so its not that...anybody know???it also has 3'' piping on the hot side and 2.75 on the cold:( but im going to sell the car so i dont wont to spend the time changing it all out.

ok.i fixed the boost leaks but im still having a problem with it back firing at high rpms..would u happen to know what that could be from..i have my hi and lo throttle setting at 0 because it has 450cc in it..i also checked my fpr and it is set at about 35..any help with that?

~35 sounds about right with all vacuum lines attached.

Have you done a BLT after fixing your leak? What PSI did you reach and how long did it take to reach 0?

You should run no more than 15psi on a stock fuel system. Turn that baby down.

What is your base timing set at? it should be 5 degrees BTDC with the ignition terminal grounded and 8 degrees BTDC without it grounded.

My AFPR is set at about 40psi. Stock pressure is 38psi at curb idle with vacuum hoses attached on a 1g, not sure on a 2g.

43 psi on a 2g and it's 36 . something I think .3 on a 1g not 38...with the vacuum line REMOVED, not like you can set a FPR to .3 psi but that's what it is...
