2G Am I missing a steel ball in oil pump?

Am I missing a steel ball in the oil pump or is this oil channel left open?

what transmission do you have? the FSM only shows 1 ball for the oil pump on F4A33 and W4A33 transmissions

W4a33. The ball you see in your picture, is a check ball, which I have. The one I am wondering about, is not in the parts catalog.

I found a picture on the internet of a pump, and it was missing this ball too. I suppose it is all good

You should only have one ball in the whole pump. Do you have 2 in your pics? Or is it just lighting making it look like 2? Please tell me you only have one

I have mounted the oil pump together, but there was a ball in every hole, except for one as you see in the picture. I think it is correct, as I found a picture showing the same as my pump. But there is only one check ball. The balls in my pump, can not be moved.
