Am I measuring this coil pack correctly?

I'm trying to test my 1g coil pack to see if it could be a reason for my hard cold starts.

I measured the resistance at the terminals in the picture and I'm getting about 1.8ohms

When I try measuring the other part of the coil pack where the spark plug wires go into it doesn't come up with anything, does it look like I'm measuring it right from the picture?

Here's a diagram for testing it. So yes, you're doing it right. Notice the resistance on the coils themselves is measured in Kiloohms; so adjust your voltmeter accordingly.

Thanks that was my problem I didn't see that it had to be set for K

Would I subtract the resistance of the test leads from my answer on the first test?

On the second coil readings on cylinder two and three I have to really push down on the leads to get a reading because one terminal looks like it has corrosion build up almost like an old penny. Is there anyway to clean this or do I have to buy a new one? Reading for these are 13.44K and 13.14K

I have seen, first hand, coil test fine when it's cold. Under load/current it can fail leading to a tricky fix. If you weed out everything else then fire a coil pack at it. DSM coils areknown to be quite robust though

Milli: I had that same problem up past 45lb/min or so. I found the wires were bad. Then soon after the problem came back.............valve on #2 cylinder. It's never the easy fix with a dsm bro haha.
Good luck.
