Alterstart alternator instalation help please! With Pictures!

I bought this alternator and it will not charge my battery. I had my alternator tested and it tested good.

Please tell me what each of these does.

Oh also I plan on adding 4 gauge wire to my high output alternator. Where to I hook it up on the alternator?

1 - plug for field and sense wires.
2 - B+ Alternator output. This runs to the alternator fuse and from there to the positive battery post.
3 - looks like a external condensor positive lead (capacitor noise filter) Non-Standard attached to 2 after you put the 4 gauge wire (or the stock B+ wire) on the stud.
4 - condensor case attached to optional alternator ground stud.

ok I figured number 2 was the B+ , but when I brought it in to get it tested he didnt have any wire on there at all.

And my 80A fuse is good.

He had a plug into number 1

well I figured out my problem, one of my brushes in my alternator went to crap , YAY!

what does the condesor do by the way, becuase if you look right above the post on number 4 you can see what looks like a condensor inside already. Im wondering if alterstart put one it it already and I have wrecked my alternator by adding the old condensor from my other alternator.
