so im buttoning up this 6 bolt and getting ready to drop it in. just finished the alt relocation figured i would snap some pictures. i need a timing cover and i need to know what this cable is and how to remove it. it is connected from the steering collumn to the auto shifter that was there. common sense says it kept you from shifting with the key off, the reeal question is how to remove it correctly now that the car is manual
