Alternator adjuster bolt pitch/size?

Hey the bolt that holds the adjuster to the alternator (labeled number one in the pic), what is the pitch and size? Mine fell out because it wouldn't tighten....just kept turning. I guess I need a nut for the bolt, I guess the inside of the alternator stripped out a little? Cause the bolt starts to tighten, but then it does not at the end, just keeps turning.

So I need to go to home depot for the bolt and nut/washer anyone know the pitch and/or length etc?

m8x1.25, but if it's stripped you'll need to helicoil.

If you're gonna stay in the dsm game I recommend a m6x1.0 and m8x1.25 helicoil. 95% of everything is those 2 sizes.

Yeah I have that one I had bought it for the valve cover bolts in the head.

THing is I bought a nut for my bolt and a lock washer...so if the bolt passes all the way thru I'll do it that way as I'm not in for pulling the alternator again. I have some thread lock also...and I bought extra bolts and nuts and washers.
