My 16G has a little pit on the surface where the washers are suppose to seal the coolant to the banjo fitting. I just fired the car up and noticed it is leaking slightly. I was wondering if there is a barbed fitting I just put in there that doesn't use the sealing surface like the banjo fittings use, and run a rubber line from there. Something like a compression fitting.

Does anyone sell a water line kit like this?

Just go to a hardware store (or a store with that thread pattern), And take the banjo fitting. Tell them you need a ''barb'' fitting in that thread size. Put thread tape on it, Screw it in and tighten it up, Then connect your rubber coolant hose. You'll be fine.

....or just loop the lines and don't run coolant to the turbo. As long as you let the turbo cool properly before shutdown you'll be just fine.

The coolant is only in place as a heat sink for proper cooldown after the car has been turned off. You'll normally only find water-cooled turbos on cars that were turbocharged from the factory where the uneducated consumer may shut the car off with the turbo smokin' hot on a regular basis.

Yeah if I can't get anything to workout ultimately I will probably do what jusmx141 said and loop the lines. It would be nice to have the coolant for peace of mind though.

Does anyone have pictures of their custom coolant lines for a 16G?

For now I tightened banjo bolt more (gasp good thing it didn't break) hope that helps gotta fix some of other leaks then will check it again. If that doesn't work its off to Royal Brass and have them make something for me.
