Took my car to the track for shits a giggles.....figured some of yall would get a kick out of this...setup is a pte scm 6031 280s stock converter awd auto and a little e-85 mix on some 680's stock high mile bottom end....ran a 15.5 at 109 mph at low to mid 20's for boost (internal gate)....rolling of the line like I was coming from a stop sign...full boost at 4700 rpm....you ready for the 60 foot time???....................................................................

nothing at all its on the stock converter....i have a custom converter ready to go in and I didnt feel like cooking the tranny tryin to stall it up for ten minutes to build a pound of boost....so i said to hell with it and ran that just playin around....she was rippin the 1st to second gear shift (a little sideways action).... it was hilarious seein the cars in the other lane get out literally like 11 car lengths and once boost finally came in flyin by on the big end was perdy fun times.

I was happy with that slip....she is makin a little more power than I thought running numbers like that with that mph....the 60' trips me out


nobody knew how to take it....she drew her own little crowd in the pits ...i was a proud pop ...

im expecting a mid-high eleven with a little more boost and the converter in it....at around 118-120mph or so if my math is right

Hmm that is one hellacious 60ft.
I am now wondering if mine would run similar time. I was thinking to go with FP red on my 91 race car. I have stock stall. So how high a stall are you getting. Assume you are getting one from IPT?
Restall the stocker? I can build good boost on my two step now but thats with the 13g on there. I have not tracked my car yet this season just finishing up a few things first.
But you do have me worried that maybe shouldn't bother tracking it until after the stall if do the red unless run some nitrous on there to spool it up.That might be another option. My jm fab intake is setup for direct port nitrous. Even a small shot 50 to 75 would likely spool it up quickly.

My mods are stock engine as well currently. fuel is supra tt pump, FFWD fuel system with 1150 FICs.
Dsmlink v3, megan 3 inch downpipe. kyb agx and ground control coilovers. Have some 280s but not installed and might be putting my 2.4 from my 97 in there. Car is seriously lightented up as well. Figure took out 300 or even more pounds.

But sure sounds like might as well forget it until do the stall. So think an FP red would spool similar in my 2.0 and of course sooner if use the 2.4 So do you get a stall higher than the spool so say 5000 if the turbo spools at 4700?
I am used to my v8 cars my twin turbo v8 runs a 3400 stall and hits full spool around 3000rpm. I can easily build boost at the line on two step. But think two step is key as well as the stall. Are you using a two step?

the sixty foot time may have been slightly better if I had tried to launch the car....like I said this was a fun run so I was just toying with it and didnt even try to launch the car....the stall I am going with is a restall that was done by a local here...should flash to around 3500 and build to 4000. I have a friend of mine that is on a stroker setup with a 5857 billet with an ipt restall as high as they would go and he can build plenty of boost by around 3500 or so to launch on street tires.

Im actually going to fill the bottle up today to put the kit on the car and see how it launches....

I read about you wanting to play with the 13g for a minute...I would reccomend the nitrous and the red....even without being able to launch my car Im having a helluva fun time driving this thing.
