Ebay 16g turbo

ok. so i had pacesetters on my car. they broke so i decided to port my stocker and put it back on. once done, i drove from votech back to the school and it would hit 18 lbs and go down to 15 and stay there.i had a fluttering problem with the leaking pacesetters. the fluttering went away, but it biulds to 18 or 19 them went to 15 and held.
When i left school to go home, the car boosted yo 25 so i immediately pulled over. took the crappy homemade controller out and ran a line str8 from j pipe to wastegate. still wound like nothing was regulating it at all. it spools so much quicker too. dont know if thats relevant or just cause of the new ported mani. Wastegate junk> what else could it be?

I agree with the wastegate being bad, as you said you disconnected the mbc and ran direct waste gate pressure , which would have kept your boost signicantly lower, no way off waste gate pressure should it be boosting that high

ya the wastegate is bad.i took it off and blew in the nipple and it leaks rite back out. will a 14b one work? if anyone has a wastegate that will work message me. i dont have enough posts to do a wtb post in marketplace.
