Boosting too high

I recently installed a new BOV (greddy type-s) and after I installed it, I noticed my boost went up a few PSI, to about 15 PSI. I am completely stock other then the bov... Any suggestions? I was thinking maybe a bad BCS or wastegate actuator, but Im still learning all this stuff, So I could you a little guidance.

Your stock bov usually leaks after 11 psi, so now that you have a new leak free bov, you're not pissing away your boost.

Yup. When I had my 95 and I put my Greddy BOV on there I went up also - but I had a boost controller to install shortly after. But be ready for the BOV to leak afew a year or so - I know mine started to die. I'll never get a Greddy BOV again - well atleast the Type-S.

Get a boost controller - then 3" exhaust. Don't forget the downpipe. Downpipe makes it feel likea new car...

As these guys have stated, the 2G BOV begins leaking by at around 10-12 PSI.

okay, thanks a lot guys. So the 15 PSI wont hurt my car? (it peaks at about 16 then levels out at 14-15) Or should I install a MBC to run a lower PSI when im just daily driving?
